Aggressive panhandlers, drunken Indians, heroin addicts, and the "street scene" in general I just want to say FUCK YOU. After years of working in the social service field, I have had it with you assholes. Just because you have an addiction, does not mean you are entitled to anything but a modicum of dignity. What you fuckers deserve is a heaping dose of public shame. But no...not here in Seattle, we just enable you with so many programs you don't ever have to get "well", "healthy", or "productive".

So you get $250 from the state and you need $225 for your drugs or alcohol. Sure thing, we can provide you with a place to stay for $25 a month. You want to lay on the sidewalks drunk, yelling obscenities at passersby, pissing on a wall right out in public. Its okay, we will tolerate your "way of life". You need your fix so bad you duck behind a school or into a park and leave your used needles where children play. No problem, we love you plus we will give you more needles so you can leave them somewhere, too.

Whatever happened to personal responsibility or personal accountability? Whatever happened to castigating the dregs of society? In Seattle....we raise our mugs, toast them, and drink them down like the chocolaty syrup at the bottom of a café mocha. I say FUCK that. It is time for a paradigm shift.

Listen up you Assholes! You have to give respect to get respect. And if I don't get it, you won't get service. You want food....denied. You want needles...denied. You want a warm place to sleep....denied. You don't want me to kick your drunken ass out of my way...denied.
