I was born and raised in Texas and lived there for 24 years. But I hated the place, which is why I left; I have since been living in the Northwest for almost 14 years. But there are 2 things I miss about Texas: the thunderstorms and the barbecue. I can't change the weather but at least you would think I could have some decent barbecue. After nearly 14 years of searching from Everett to Tacoma, I've found only 2 places that can do a decent job of it: Manna's in Greenwood and 3 Pigs in Bellevue. And to everyone who keeps telling me to go to Dixie's, you've apparently never even *smelled* good barbecue. So the next time someone asks where to get some good 'cue, admit you really have no idea and would welcome suggestions.
