I just read Wendy's thread about the Wet Spot, and I am so happy that there are other people asking the same questions I have been pondering for quite some time; Although I am thirty, and not twenty-something, I am still a reasonably attractive, fit woman who does not feel an inclination to express my "inner goth" with tacky fetish gear and industrial music. Aren't there any attractive, non-goth people out there who enjoy really kinky sex? And, if there are, how do you find these people without sorting through a bunch of would-be boyfriends (it may seem boring, but I'm pretty well straight and monogamous), or skimming through the personal ads, which also sounds pretty lame.
By the way, I'm not assuming that everyone who goes to places like the Wet Spot are unattractive goths; the unattractive aspect comes into play not so much with how much a person weighs, but whether they are dressed like it's Halloween, circa 1987. I'm sorry I find that unappealing. And what's with all the fucking lingo? Does having an interest in dirty sex require a special membership complete with its own special little language? This is what seems unappealing. I do not want to turn my sex life into an episode of Star Trek.
