QUESTION - OPINION INPUT NEEDED

Do we need affordable artist lofts in SODO, maybe near Starbucks and the new train station?

I have access to a building with 30' ceilings, enough space for up to 12 artist studios at $700/Month for 1,000 SF each. This is an old-growth, timbered building with great "bones", all visible, that we can have remodeled by year end for move-in. Great for artisits needing high ceilings. We can configure more space for an artist if they need it. This is a planning effort as some artisits have already expressed a desire but we need more to make the project work. Email me or call me at 206-261-2726 if you are an artist needing a loft at very affordable rent right in the middle of SODO! Email me if you are a citizen with ideas and suggestions to share.

ANYONE, Please email me with your suggestions or opinions. Most real estate is done by the old school withpout getting other than required community input. We want to hear from you, all of our citizens, about what you want in SODO and what you want SODO to become. Insudtrial is gone north of Spokane, whether others recognize it or not.

You are the future which is why we need your input. Please email me. Thank you for reading this call for the best in your mind. :)

There is the big Tully's building (formerly Rainier Beer) that's being converted to artist lofts across the street from the light rail hub on Airport Way. There's the Tashiro Kaplan building in Pioneer Sq. - 50 live in artist lofts developed by Artspace and a second being built on Dearborn St. I believe there is still a large studio building on East Marginal Way... all south of the city. Is there need for another, probably since there's a gazillion studio artists in Seattle - second, seemingly, to musicians. Good luck, sounds like a nice building...

i think you'd have more success if you divided some of them in half
