I do not drive and I do not have a car. I walk and ride a bus if I have to move my butt 5 miles away. But I am often a passenger in my friends' cars and have noticed that problem.

Its not about me. But for some people it may sound weird why I do give a fuck about other people's problems.

Do you think I care if a car parks in front of my house? No.
I dont smoke but I was against smoking ban.
Its all about common sense, not about what I WANT myself.
I just think that many laws in big cities like Seattle are stupid and I wonder who are those folks who started it.

Fortunately most of depressed people commit suicide before they kill somebody.

I think it's a bit silly to break the law and then rant about getting caught.

When I had a car, I would park illegally in a pinch and probably got a ticket. . . mmm. . . once a year, maybe?

I always thought of it this way: I probably parked illegally once or twice per month. If the SPD had offered me a Park-in-a-Pinch punchcard for $40 with 12 get-out-of-ticket-free opportunities per year, I would have happily paid for it. So. A ticket once in a while was just paying for my punchcard, and still cheaper than what it would have cost all of those times when I COULD have payed $10 to park legally for a 15-minute errand, but didn't wanna.

So. . .there.

Now, admittedly, towing is a more expensive matter, but. . . well. . . it's dumb to park someplace THAT illegal if you can't afford it. :D
