For the owners and customers of this popular bakery/café: Unfortunately, I have seen the decline in appeal of this once mainly organic business due to the fast paced overexpansion of it. The final kicker for me personally has been the dismissal of a friend. Last week, as he engaged a customer in conversation while ringing her up at the register, there was a superior-complex-minded-bitch waiting next in line. Feeling that her needs were not being met on her timeline, she made a complaint to the owner of the company, her husband. Instead of understanding that communicating and commiserating with the customers is an imperative part of running an inviting and down-to-earth café, this pussy-whipped owner wrote a scathing email to the manager of the café, prompting her to fire my friend. He sends a message: that he does not want the customers comfortable and happy, he only wants their money. I know that the wife isn?t concerned about her finances, as she is married to the owner of a multimillion dollar business. But due to her impatience and undeniably uncompassionate attitude, my friend is now hoping he will at least get some unemployment while he looks for another job. Either way, I am never going to buy another product from either of the stores, and although the pastries are world-class, I want the customers to know that one of the owners and his wife are world-class pricks; and the customers should be giving love to the employees who tirelessly serve them, cause no one else is going to do it.
