Does anyone on these forums read comics? Or am I the only one. If there are other readers, how about some suggestions.

Currently I am loving Y the Last Man, Ex Machina, Ultimate Spider-Man, Girls, Walking Dead, Invincible, and She-Hulk. Among others. And just picked up DC's collected works of Alan Moore in TPB and look forward to the second hardcover collection of Jack Kirby stories from Marvel

I am not so much, but I have MANY friends who were massive comic book fans.

The two I happened to like a great deal were The Preacher and Johnny The Homicidal Maniac. Both title characters are true heroes.

... okay, maybe not so much Johnny, who makes Freddy Krueger look like Mr. Rogers, but Jesse Custer is the man. I love his hidden superpower where he can tell you to do something and you will do it no matter what, i.e. "Why don't you go fuck yourself?" and the sheriff cuts his own pecker off and shoves it up his ass.

Preacher is a great title. I even loved the mini series and one shots that came from it. And I still put Jesse Custer in my top ten comic heroes of all time.

Garth is now writing Punisher, and while I was never big on that character, I am loving his run on Punisher and it is very brutal. The way it was meant to be. Instead of killing people with steam rollers or pizzas, he's throwing people against windows in skyscrapers knowing they don't shatter.
