To the person who mows the lawn of the brown apartment building on Federal Ave. E between Harrison and Republican:
Our pretty little neighborhood is populated by artists, musicians, food & beverage workers, web designers, graduate students, and other nice people. Many of us prefer or even need to sleep until much later than 8:00 a.m., which is when i was torn from my pleasant dream by the sound of your machine. If you are a resident of our neighborhood your lack of consideration borders on sadism; if you are a laborer from a more up-and-at-'em, early bird sort of neighborhood, you are ignorant and that is forgivable—once.
The next time i hear you at such an hour i will break your nose and destroy your equipment. It will be laughably easy to get the jump on you under the cover of your grating and grinding unmuffled mower. As you try to regain you senses and deal with the blood pouring from your disfigured face, pondering the passion behind my smart-bomb haymaker, i will cut, break, smash, and bash every part of your mower that i am able to.
