I'm happy the Block Party is hosting a Decibel stage this year. Electronic music traditionally has gotten short-changed at this event. The Decibel lineup looks very strong. Thanks for opening up things.

Do all performance poets construct their message on an I Am Somebody foundation...lived in Los Feliz for awhile, on Commonwealth...there is an occasional word of mouth trample scene in a space above Cheechs Pizza on Hillhurst...do you know it? I discovered it through a guy who manages the liquor store down the street...next to Yucas...know it? Most of the girls are Eastern European and work for Sascha, who operates a den on Orange near Melrose...the majority of the girls are in training and require some light hand balancing while employing direct variation of step. BYOB with a sliding scale entry fee. If you're interested talk to the young Armenian guy at the liquor store...buy a pack of Teaberry and say Crushhhh!!!!!!!...discreetly. Be careful, the Armenian gangs in that area are shooters and one misstepp

The Gossip are perfect for block partys. This is going to be so, so good.
