Is anyone planning to see them at The War Room next Thursday (6/2)? I think they're a lot more exciting live than they are on their CDs.

Yeh, I'm going to go. I've been to a few of the War Room's nights lately and really like the place.

I agree about the different live show. Have you checked out their last few releases? I think they changed members, because the newest thing I bought is a lot more loud and has some vocals on it. Less ambience more dance music. Check out their website (fcsnorth.com), there's some downloadable Mp3s.

What's up with DJs Fucking in the Street? Is that a band?

Fucking in the Streets is a DJ. He plays alot of disco, punk and electro stuff.

I have not checked out their latest stuff. In fact, the only CD I own is the self-titled one. I listened to the MP3s on their website.... They sure do sound different. I can't say I dig the vocal stuff, but I guess we will see how they do it live tomorrow.

The last time I saw them was at the Lower Level with Scientific American, sYzYgY, and some highly experimental group I forgot the name of. (They played records by wobbling them back and forth in the air, and one guy played an old manual typewriter--chik chik chik chik DING.) FCSN played last and put on a really impressive show. They rocked hard.
