Yesterday both Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly got the same memo about "the entitlement society," causing the lazy poor to just sit in the rising waters waiting for their welfare checks. By the end of the day the same keywords were showing up in this forum.

Now that President Bush has called for an investigation into how the local officials caused the federal response to fail, I'm pretty sure we are going to start seeing "a few bad apples" who need to be brought to justice.

Watch for a New Orleans dog catcher and municipal garbage collector taking the fall, and doing the perp-walk.

How long is it going to be before all Republicans get a jack in their heads to just download the daily talking points.

That's not news. Conservative Pundits will stick up for their people and defend their actions as much as they can. Ditto Liberal Pundits. That's why they're called Partisan.

Let's go back and look at Bill Clinton's press coverage, and then compare it to George Bush's.

Saying that 'everyone does it' implies an equivalence that just isn't there.

The conservative press is spouting the same message, on the same day, using the same catch-phrases. These people are lip-syncing the official propaganda of the one party that controls every branch of government in the only super-power left.

Don't act like it is no big deal, and that it has all been done before. The levels of corruption and acquiescence are unprecedented.
