The Bush Administration backed down when CNN brought a case to federal court Saturday, Sept. 10, seeking to restore First Amendment protections for news coverage in the Katrina Disaster Zone.

"Reporters can watch recovery efforts they come upon, but they won't be embedded with search teams."
